This Infinity 5mm diameter idler shaft is a lot more than meets the eye. Sure, it's just a cool, extremely light tube of carbon fiber, cut to length so it drops in any TLR 22-series vehicle. But it's also just ever so slightly bigger than the stock idler shafts, meaning the bearings for the idler gears are an easy press fit. This more perfect fit helps fix one of the nagging issues of the TLR 22 series vehicles: whereas the stock idler shafts allow the idler gear to move around inside the transmission case, the Infinity shaft eliminates this gap, resulting in a car that runs quieter and a transmission that lasts longer. TLR team driver JP RIchards, after testing the Infinity I203 Idler shaft for a month, said, "I usually open up the transmission of my TLR 22 3.0 between each club race and replace the idler gear often. With the Infinity shaft in there, I've gone more than a month and my gears still look brand new!"
