Leading up to last week's exciting announcement of the K021 X - 6 Squared Kit, X Factory
released a series of parts for the X - 6 Squared which also fit the B4/T4. Many people actually
were able to guess as to what was coming; even without an official annoucement the path fo the
build-up certainly made sense.

The first of these parts, released late last summer, was of course the front trailing axle. Replacing a
notoriously weak AE Factory Team part, these steel front axles features the same low-profile button-screw
mounting system for the front wheels while increasing strength.

The next parts, released very close together, were a new X Factory #5210 one-piece top shaft and #5530 slipper plate.
The top shaft is precision cut and coated for long life and great performance; the shaft is shaped such that no AE
top shaft spacer is needed. That means one less part was required for the K021 kit, as well as one less part to worry about
when rebuilding your X - 6 Squared, X - 60, or AE transmission. The slipper plate is a direct fit for any X Factory or AE
top shaft and slipper assembly.

One of the final parts for the K021 released recently was the XF #5800 C-CVD set. With all the axle and droop issues
that the X - 6 Squared has gone through (the Losi BK2 axle, then the X Factory 5661 CVD axle) these CVD's are great news
for X Factory. They include the proper length axle right from the start, and have the perfect spacer to fit inside the
hub carrier. Of course, they also feature MIP's latest design, which does away with the annoying set-screw and moves to
a great screw-on retaining ring. These CVD sets have sold so well we've actually had to order a second batch to release
the K021!
