Explaining item quantities
In order to help reduce any backorder issues, we are trying out the following policy: Every item in our store has a quantity associated with it. This quantity is the number of items in package (or bags made up, for kits), ready to ship out immediately. We allow you to place a backorder for items that we have sufficient quantities of in bulk - we just need to package the items and they'll be on their way to you. We do not allow you to backorder items if we are completely out of stock, waiting for a supplier, or if there's some other issue.
So, if an item shows as out of stock, but you can add it to your cart, there's a bunch sitting in a box and we just have to make one up! It'll ship immediately with the rest of your order.
If an item shows as out of stock and prohibits you from adding it to your cart, we have zero here at the shop and we're working hard to get more in.
If you have any questions about how this works, or when an item might be back available, don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks!
